Mr. Aaron Manning was born February 15, 1940 in Quitman,
Georgia to the late Joseph Manning and Ethel Mae (Stokes)
Manning.
He attended the Brooks County School System. During his
early years, he was employed with the City of Valdosta
Water and Sewer Department. In his later years, he worked
in construction as a Backhoe Loader Operator for Jerry
Cooper.
Mr. Manning loved his children, grandchildren, great-
grandchildren, extended family and friends. He also loved
listening and singing Gospel Music.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Manning
and Ethel Mae (Stokes) Manning; two sons, Robert
Manning and Donald Manning; one daughter, Janet
Manning; twelve siblings, Ulysses Manning, CB Manning,
Norman Manning, Joe Manning, Willie B. Manning, Robert
Manning, George Manning, Calvin Manning, Roberta
Manning, Janice Manning and Sarah Manning.
He leaves to cherish his memories, one son, Aaron Manning
(Tonia) of McDonough, GA; one daughter, Gloria Bute
(Andre) of Miramar, FL; one brother, Erman “Sank”
Manning (Dorothy) and one sister, Rubynell Copeland,
both of Valdosta, GA; three sisters-in-law, Edna B.
Manning, Maxine Manning and Bessie Manning;
grandchildren, Cedric Tyson, Jamaal Tyson, Latrece
Manning, Aisha Bute, Germain Manning-Lofton, LaSheaya
Williams, Parish Hogan, Amari Manning, Mia Manning and
Tristan Manning; great-grandchildren, Malachi Tyson, Zion
Tyson, Nova Tyson, Kamron Hezekiah, Khori Lofton and
Korbyn Lofton; a host of other relatives and friends.
