Antwon Rawls, born on May 7, 1988, passed away on May 3, 2025, at the age of 36. A proud graduate of Valdosta High School, Class of 2007, Antwon dedicated his life to pursuing a career in truck driving, most recently as a valued employee at FedEx.
Known for his infectious sense of humor, Antwon had a unique ability to brighten anyone's day. He loved spending time outdoors, engaging in his favorite hobbies of fishing and hunting, and had a passion for photography that allowed him to capture the beauty of the world around him. His love for cars was evident in his enthusiasm for the latest models and his pride in maintaining his own.
Antwon is preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Willie James Rawls, and Deacon Freddie Lee Lawrence. He is survived by his devoted parents, Janice Sirmans and Lemodis Lawrence, as well as a large and loving family that includes his siblings: Shaqoria Sirmans, NaKeisha Sirmans, Brice Lawrence, Courtney Lawrence, Aisha Pugh , Jamarian Newsom, Keavya Edwards, and Antonio Kier.
He was a cherished father to six children: Shanya Rawls, Jaylen McMillan, Antwon Rawls jr. (A.J) Braylen Rawls, Braeden Rawls, and Shamariyah Rawls. Antoine is also survived by his grandmother, Jeanette Williams, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly, including his best friend, Matt Ruth Herring.
Antoine Rawls touched the lives of many with his warmth, humor, and vibrant spirit. He will be remembered for the joy he brought into the lives of those who knew him and the love he shared with his family and friends.
