Mr. Clinton Brooks was born September 2, 1956, in Adel,
Georgia to the late Walter Brooks and Sadie Brooks. Clint
departed his life October 13, 2024.
Mr. Clinton Brooks was a firefighter in Brunswick, Ga for
over 20 years. Later, he moved back to Adel, Ga where he was
employed by the City of Adel. Although Clinton had a degree
in welding, he did not choose welding as a career. Clinton
loved music. Earlier in life Clinton joined the Ghetto Union
Band. They traveled all over providing entertainment for many
people. After moving back to Adel in the late 90s Clint joined
Holy Community Church, under the leadership of Pastor
Horne where he became a Steward in the church & he also
played the Bass Guitar until his health began to fail.
Clint’s hobbies along with playing the bass guitar included
gardening. Clint loved flowers & working with his hands &
could fix & build anything.
Clint was proceeded in death by his parents Walter & Sadre
Brooks; Brothers, Lowell Moore Bernard Brooks and Walter
Brooks Jr.; Sisters, Gloria Brooks and Debra Pettigrew.
Clinton leaves to cherish his memories his faithful & devoted
wife of 24 years & 3 months, Mrs. Hester Brooks; Sons,
Clinton Elon Williams of Brunswick, GA and Trevon Brooks
(Cayla) of Portland, Oregon; Daughters, Satara Booker of
Valdosta, GA, Shamika Turner (Roshawn) Seymore of Adel,
GA and Krystal Turner of Valdosta, GA; Eleven
grandchildren; one granddaughter whom he raised as his own,
Aniya Lee Spikes; one great-grandchild; three brothers,
Samuel ( Dorothy ) Brooks of Little Edd Harbor, New Jersey,
King David Paige of Fort Walton Beach, Florida and Richard
(Eartha) Brooks of Adel, GA; Sister Lavern (Wavert)
Covington of Adel, GA; God sisters, Josie Stumer and Cathy
Adkins of Adel, GA; Godmother, Linda Seymore of Adel, GA;
sister-in-law, Maxcine Zackery; five children that were near
and dear to his heart, Emma, Clarese, Melanie, Yolanda and
Octavious; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
