Mr. Donald Lester Sapp was born July 13, 1949, to
the late John Lester Sapp and Lillie Ray Sapp.
He joined Mt. Olive Baptist Church at an early age.
He graduated from Cook County Training School
and later Atlanta Tech with a degree in
Criminology. He retired from Nashville Mills in
Nashville, GA. He worked in security at Dell Cook for
a short time. He enjoyed word search puzzles, reading
and watching his Westerns (Gunsmoke was
his all time favorite).
He was married to Frances Sapp of Douglas,
GA.
He leaves to cherish his memories, one devoted sister, Carolyn Carter
(Tony) of Valdosta, GA; one devoted daughter, Selena Hayes
(Alfreddo) of Sparks, GA; four sons, John L. Sapp (Tasha) of
Thomasville, GA, Michael Sapp (Jessica) of Valdosta, GA, Donald
Sapp, Jr., of Douglas, GA and Rickashay Carson Sapp of Adel, GA; one
devoted nephew, Christopher Oxford of Sparks, GA; one aunt, Hattie
Bell Smith of Atlanta, GA; fourteen grandchildren; five great-
grandchildren; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
