Dorothy Martin

Dorothy (Doris) Martin was born in Moultrie, Ga on July 12, 1947, to
the late Mr. Arthur Parrish and Lucille Parrish. She departed this life on
December 24, 2023.
Dorothy was a factory worker for over 30 years at Nashville Mills, Ga
where she later retired. Dorothy was a member of Mount Moriah where
she served as an usher for several years. Dorothy was a hard worker and
enjoyed many hobbies like gardening, decorating, and cooking, all of
which she was talented.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Parrish and Lucille
Parrish; her husband Noble Martin; 6 sisters, Wanita Walker, Rose
Thomas, Myrtice Jefferson, Alma Parrish, Idella Parrish, Ruby Joiner
and 4 brothers, Willie Parrish, Owen Parrish, Bennie Parrish,
Grady Parrish. 1 surviving sister Mary Barrett of Orlando,
Fl.
Together Dorothy and her husband Noble raised 3
children, Carla Martin, Dexter Martin and Christopher
Martin through which they gained a beloved
daughter-in-law, LaRonda Martin; 10
Grandchildren; Tiara Deberry, Chavis Paige,
Rushun Martin, Tamiah Martin, Kami
Devon-Thomas, Shamiah Martin,
Bryant Ross, Aaliyah Lewis,
Justin Inman, Deshara Roberts;
15 great-grandchildren, and a
host of nieces, nephews and
cousins.
