Mr. Edward Isaiah Turner, who left this world on February 25, 2025, at the age of 27. Born on June 23, 1997, Edward was a vibrant spirit, full of life and curiosity. He graduated from Tift County high school in the Class of 2015, where he made lasting friendships and memories. Edward had a passion for travel, always eager to explore new places and meet new people. He was a talented musician, playing the saxophone in the school band, where his love for jazz music flourished. An interesting conversationalist, Edward loved discussing everything from the latest weather patterns to the nuances of his favorite songs. His warm smile and easy-going nature made him a joy to be around, and he cherished the time spent with family and friends. As a devoted fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, he would often rally friends and family to cheer for his team, embodying the spirit of camaraderie and support. Edward leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will forever be remembered by those who knew him. He is survived by his loving mother, Olethia Turner; special aunt Carolyn Wilson; cherished cousins Keith and Keisha Smith; grandmother Betty Pitts; God-sister Gi Santi Sutton; godbrother Jamar Hargret; great aunts Kathy Brown Horn and Jacqueline Holmes; and a host of aunts, uncles, and friends, including Gloria Robinson, Billy and Gloria Pitts, and Timothy and Kathy Johnson. Edward is preceded in death by his father, Edward T. Turner; his grandfather, Jimmy Pitts; his grandmother, Clifford Pitts; his grandfather, Edward R. Turner; and his grandmother, Beatrice Turner. A celebration of Edward's life will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor Edward's memory by sharing a kind word or story that reflects the joy he brought to your life. Rest in peace, Edward. You will be deeply missed, but your spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved you.
