Gwendolyn Phillips

GWENDOLYN L. PHILLIPS was born January 26, 1951, to the late Claude Kenny and Gwendolyn Blakey of Adel, Georgia. She received her education from Cook Training School. She loved fishing. She worked at Production Plate and Adel Memorial Hospital. Gwendolyn was a member of the St. James AME Church. Gwendolyn passed away on March 18, 2023. She was preceded in death by SISTER, Judy Williams; her BROTHERS; Bily Kenny and Bobby Kenny; and her BROTHER-IN-LAW, Frank Lindsey, She leaves to cherish her memories her CHILDREN: Edward (Jessica) Kenny and Bryant Kenny of Adel, Ga; her SISTER, Bedelia Lindsey of Alapaha, Ga; her BROTHER, Robert Kenny of Adel, Ga; her GRANDCHILDREN: Mahogany (Brandon) Lawson, Edward Kenny Jr. of Adel, Ga, Xzavior (Kayla) Adkins of Atlanta, Ga; Jaheem Kenny of Adel, Ga, Ashanti Kenny of Adel, Ga, Nigel Kenny of Adel, Ga, and Dove Kenny of Adel, Ga; six GREAT-GRAND CHILDREN; SPECIAL FRIENDS: Mae Helen Brown, Annette Birdine, Linda Seymour and Mitty Ann Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and sorrowing friends,
