HECTOR MANUEL MARRERO-TORREZ, aged 64, crossed over to the
afterlife on April 30, 2024. He was born on June 6, 1959, in a beautiful
beach town, called Carolina.
In Puerto Rico. Hector Marrero, was a fighter, a warrior, a leader, a great
son, sibling, husband, father, grandfather and father in-law. He was a
wonderful teacher. Hector was the oldest of 4 siblings, Angel, Edwin,
Manny, George, and Maritza. He was a loving husband to his beautiful
wife, Diana Marrero, of 39 years and to this union, they had 3 children,
Anna Marrero, his firstborn, & his caretaker; Dayanna Marrero, his 2nd
oldest and the one he calls strong child & nutrients his needs; and Hector
Marrero, his only son and the one his father looks up too. Hector was a
grandfather of 7 grandchildren, Angel, Jamera, Joshmir, Brianna, Joshua,
Dayden and Aiden. His grandkids were his life. He loved each and every
one of them dearly.
Hector was a loving person, he was outgoing and fearless. Hector enjoyed
being around his family to him family was everything, from having BBQ's
in the backyard to lighting up fireworks in the middle of the street, to
building a swimming pool in his yard just for his family, and
grandchildren; to making family plans and events. He was full of wisdom,
His heart was so pure. He always wanted the best for everyone. He was a
hard-working man and an excellent provider. He enjoyed laughter,
freedom, family, gatherings, cooking, decorating, and traveling. Hector
enjoyed boxing. His 2 favorite boxers were “Rocky “ and Escobar. He
enjoy watching WWE, and playing Resident Evil on his PS3 with his
children and grandchildren. Hector enjoyed working on vehicles. He had a
passion for all types of vehicles. He was a mechanic. He then had an
interest in trucks. He went to SRTC where he began to pursue his career
in becoming a truck driver. He then graduated in 2014, with his CDL.
That's where Hector and his son-in-law, Napolian came together, and
build a connection in the business industry.
Hector then attended a church in Tifton where he gave his life over to God
again and began to walk in his purpose with God. His love,
understanding, and faith in god, allowed him to be in the kingdom with
god, in the afterlife. He will be loved and missed. He also leaves to cherish
sons-in-law, Napolian Jenkins & Brian Morton.
