Henrietta L Gosier

Mrs. Henrietta Gosier was born February 7, 1961, in Homerville,
GA. She was the eldest of 5 children born to the late Louise
Williams and Henry Bass, Sr. She went home to be with the
Lord on Tuesday, June 25, 2024.
Henrietta was a member of Union Cathedral Ministries in
Valdosta, GA. She was a 1979 graduate of Valdosta High School
where she was a member of the prestigious Revelers and Pams
Club. She was a loyal employee of South Georgia Medical
Center for 30 years serving in the cafeteria, The Spice of Life
and Golden Galleria Gift shop until she retired.
One of Henrietta’s greatest accomplishments was her family.
Family was her whole life, and she loved each of them

completely. She was the best wife, mother, grandmother, great-
grandmother, sister, and friend God ever blessed us with.

Henrietta was preceded in death by mother, Louise Williams,
stepfather, Willie C. Williams, mother-in-law, Lena Gosier,

father-in-law, Henry Gosier, grandson, Jeremiah Gosier, great-
granddaughter Kensley Taylor, sister-in-law Helen Gosier,

brother in laws Nathaniel Gosier, Wesley Gosier and Chester
Gosier.
She leaves to cherish her memories a loving and devoted
husband of 41 years, Lee Gosier, four loving daughters, Latanya
Tillman (Joe), LaTitia Hart, Latashia Gosier (Cliff), and Latrice
Gosier; grandkids Ambriya(Qua), Jamal, Tianna, Jordan,
Makayla, Kahliyah, Tamaya, TJ, Tristan, Carson, Brandon,
Jazmyne, Jermaine, and Elana. Great-grandkids Karmen, Ty,
Autumn, AJ, and Ryland; her father, Henry Bass Sr., brothers,
Randy Bass (Cynt), Henry Bass Jr. (Fretta) Henry Lee Bass, and
James Johnson; sisters, Barbara Gaines (Bernie), Gwen Bass,
Hazel Little, Henrietta Wallace, Mary Walker, and Adrian
Dyer; adopted brothers, Kent Gillard (Nicole) and Daniel
Williams; adopted sisters, Sheila Williams, Beatrice Williams,
Jericka Williams and Sheryl Pressley; brothers-in-law Henry
Jr., Bobby (Nancy); sister-in laws Diane (David) and Aliene
(Fredrick); special friends Carla Robinson, Darlene Rowe,
Sandra Berrian, and Wanda Ross; and a host of nieces,
nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
