Mr. Henry Lewis Bass Sr. was born March 10, 1939 to Lula Mae Seward Bass and David Bass Sr. in Lake Park, Ga. He departed this life Sunday, November 3, 2024 at SGMC Health in Valdosta, Ga.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, one daughter Henrietta Bass Gosier, two sisters Betty Joe Bass and Daisy Mae Inman, two brothers Robert Harris and David Bass Jr., one granddaughter Sha’Nylyiah, three great-grands Jereiah Gosier, Karter Reigh Williams, and Kensley Hart.
He leaves to cherish his memories ten children, Randy Bass Sr. (Cynthia), Barbara Bass Gaines (Bernie), Gwen Bass, Henry Bass Jr. (Fretta), Henry Lee Bass (Celeste), Hazel Little (Calvin), Henrietta Wallace (Jerry), James Johnson (Phyllis), Mary Joohnson Walker (Mike), and Adrain Dyer (Kevner). One son in law Lee Gosier, Sister Joann Hunter, Brother Johnathan Bass, Twenty-nine grandchildren, Fifty great grands, and thirteen great great grands. A host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. His caretaker Mallory Gay.
