Lugene Brian Ryan

On Saturday February 17, 2024 God
pulled Brian's card and called him home
to rest in his faithful arms. He was born
in Ocilla, Ga on July 8, 1982 to Lela Mae
Ryan Wooten and the late Larry Davis
Green Sr.
Brian attended public school in Berrien
County and played basketball, baseball,
and football until he graduated in 2000.
He then enlisted in the United States
Army at the age of 17 where he served
active duty for 13 years while earning and
achieving many awards of recognition for
his great and honorable service before
retirement.
He was employed by the U.S. Government Publishing Office as
a Program, Strategy and Publishing Officer until his parting.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Marion
Ryan Sr and Willie Nell Ryan, his paternal grandmother Rosa
Lee Kennedy (Mr. Ellis), Frank Williams Sr. his dad Larry
Davis Green and a host of other family and friends.
He leaves to cherish his memories his daughter. Kelsey Ryan of
Adel, Ga; his mother, Lela Mae Wooten of Alapaha Ga, Five
sisters Katrina Ryan of Lake Park, Ga, Stephany (Leon)
Johnson of Lakeland, Ga, Melody Green of Alapaha, Ga,
Valencia (Jamil) Jones of Tifton Ga, Alexandria Wooten of
Alapaha Ga; two brothers, Larry Davis (Tara) Green of
Willacoochie, Ga, Cortney Green Sr. of Lakeland, Ga; two
special friends, Brian Carter and Justin Folson; nephews and
nieces, Mitchell, Amber, Khiroh, Demetrius, Demarcus,
Deshawna, Trayvon, Travius, Taieasha, Tristian, Anna, Kortia,
and Cortney Jr.; great nephews, Miguel and Malachi; a host of
uncles, aunts, cousins and other friends.
