Lula Robinson was born to Thelma Davis in Sasser, Georgia on
March 23, 1933.
She later moved to the New Jersey area after becoming of age.
She worked in a dry cleaners as the best hand presser they had.
Lula returned to Georgia several years later and married the love of her life, Isaiah Robinson, who preceded her in death. They were married for over 50 years, but never had any children, although she never birthed any children of her own, she mothered many, including helping to raise Alicia and TJ.
She was known as a hard worker no matter the task. She worked in the plant at Patchos many years, she served as a domestic servant, stringing tobacco, worked in farming, served faithfully in her local church as an usher secretary, and when ever she was needed, she often gladly volunteered to usher at local churches in the community. She served as a caretaker for her mother until her passing. She loved people and had such a generous heart, she would give you the shirt off her back.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Davis; four brothers, Richard Joseph Davis, Steve Davis, Elijah Davis, one sister Francis Jackson and her beloved husband Isaiah Robinson
She leaves to mourn her passing, three sisters, Luddie Davis, Elizabeth, Hezekiah and Ernestine Johnson, a special friend, Ronnie Smith, three special nieces, Victoria Thomas, Martha Durden and Monica Inman along with a host of her other nieces, nephews family and friends.
