Mr. Michael Stanford Sr. was born in Adel, Ga on June 28, 1970,
to the late Mrs. Lillie Mae Keeley. He departed this life on December 1, 2024, in Atlanta, Ga.
Mr. Michael Stanford received his education at Cook High School in Adel, Ga.
He was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church in Adel, Ga. He was an avid fisherman
who loved sitting at any pond.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Mr. Willie J.Keeley and Mrs. Lillie M. Keeley;
Two sisters, Mrs. Angelia Pettigrew, and Mrs. Pamela Burrough; one brother, Mr. Paul Lamont Keeley.
He leaves to cherish his memories of two daughters, Ms. Santavia Stanford (Albany, Ga),
MyKnah Horton (Adel, Ga), four sons, Michael Stanford Jr.(Armanda) Albany, Ga; Jordan
Horton (Adel,Ga); Michael Stanford III, Jamal Standford (Valdosta, Ga). Four sisters, Erica Stanford, Inetra Stanford of Adel, Ga;
Stacey Holman and Angelia Keeley of Jacksonville, Fla; six brothers, Anthony Stanford (Risa) of Elkridge, MD; Adrie Stanford (Linda) of Barwick, Ga;
Stephone Stanford of Adel, Ga; Ronnie Wilson (Kelly); Eldger Wilson of Jacksonville, Fla; Willie J Keeley Jr. of Las Vegas, NV;
12 grandchildren, two aunts, Mrs. Gloria J. Smith of Albany, Ga and Mrs, Shelva Keeley-Robertsof Adel, Ga. one uncle, Lorenza Stanford of Adel, Ga.
He loved several long-time friends, including Yardley Payne, Karl Johnson, Rulphod Deberry, Robert Deberry, Tony Graham, Lamar Jackson, Roger Palmore, Anthony McCae, Kieth McCae, and Kelvin Johnson. A very special father figure, Mr. James Payne Sr. of Adel, Ga. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
To our Atlanta family for all you have done for us during this difficult time, we thank you for the visits, telephone calls, and that big shoulder to lean on. To Donnie and Phyllis Stanford & Family we love you so very much for being there for Mike when we couldn't.
