Mr. William Eric Green was born September 28, 1962 in
Colquitt County, Georgia to the late Mr. Wilmer Green and
the late Ms. Martha Turner Green.
“Bill” as he was affectionately called, departed this life on
Friday, May 24, 2024. He has moved out of this world of
sorrow, sickness, and pain into another world of perfect
peace, rest, and relaxation. He was 61.
Bill received his education from the Colquitt County Public
School System. He also earned a certificate in Diesel
Mechanic. He was an avid mechanic and could work on
almost any vehicle you put before him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents,
Wilmer Green and Martha Green, Jesse and Inez Green and
Amos and Rosetta Turner, four aunts and three uncles.
Bill leaves to cherish his memory three sons, Derrick Dem-
mond Green (Freda), Antonio Bernard Brown (Tasha) and
Eric Lamar James all of Moultrie, Georgia; and one
daughter, Danielle Nicole Haynes of Moultrie, Georgia; two
brothers, Wayne Green of Hollywood, Florida and Wilmer
T. Green Jr. of Moultrie, Georgia; six sisters, Wilma Turner
(Paul), Janet Alderman and Monique Green, Doris T. Green
all of Moultrie, Georgia, Beverly Crawford of Clementon,
New Jersey and Sandra Huckaby of Decatur, Georgia seven
grandchildren, Ty'Brea Lamar, Derrick Green, Jr., Malik
Gaines, Makel Gaines, Makhi Gaines, Alora James and Eli
James all of Moultrie, Georgia and a host of aunts, uncles,
