William E. Rose Sr., born on September 1, 1978, in Alabama, passed away
on October 5, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and passion
for life. H e was a devoted husband t o his beloved wife, Marilyn Rose,
Mother Joe- Ella Miller and Father Willie Moore and a proud father to
his three sons, Jamil Hester, Carlos Hester, and William Rose Jr., as well
as his daughters, Kayla Rose, Lashawn Hester, and Aubrey Rose Wright.
William served honorably in the U.S. Army, attaining the rank of Sergeant
First Class, an achievement he carried with pride throughout his life. After
his military service, he found joy in riding motorcycles, becoming a past
president of the Down 2 Pound Motorcycle Club. His passion for the open
road was matched only by his loyalty to the Alabama Crimson Tide and his
support for the Cowboys by way of marriage.
A lover of music across all genres, William found solace and happiness in
melodies that spoke to his soul. He was also known for his enthusiasm for
aquarium fish, which reflected his nurturing spirit and appreciation for
beauty.
William i s survived b y his four brothers, Shawn Moore, William
Gholston, Eric Gholston, a n d Jeremy Brown, a n d his sisters, Sheena
Rose, Kyla Brown a n d Avrianne Friendly (JaDonte) H e also leaves
behind his cherished friends, Douglas Toliver, and special cousins, Terry
Sanders and Darrell Miller. He was proceeded in death by Melvin Rose
and Willie Brown, who played significant roles in his life as father figures.
William's spirit touched the hearts of many, including numerous uncles,
cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends. His journey may have ended too
soon, but his love and passion for life will forever inspire th
