On September 2,1962 in Kendall Florida, Willie was born to the late Willie Brown Sr. and Johnnie Ruth Redding Brown, Willie began his education at West Homestead Elementary school where he was a member of the Miami-Dade County Public Schools inaugural Gifted Program. He attended Homestead Jr. HIgh School and enrolled in Ms. Tripp's keyboard class which sparked his interest in music. At South Dade  Sr. High School, under the teaching of the late Mr.
